Guarding our Blessings.

The calm night sky met the turmoil in my soul. An alert in my spirit that something wasn’t right. Doubt began to cloud the knowledge of my healing, with my heart left yearning.  Thoughts and emotions spiraled as the steering wheel of life kept spinning. Picking up speed, my vision lost all clarity. As my spirit cried out, God’s gentle touch reminded me. “You already have my healing.”

Laying in bed in the dark of night, I’m reminded that the devil comes to steal, kill and destroy. Furthermore,  of course the devil is going to try and steal what God has given you.  What else would matter? Every good and wonderful thing in life has come from God. And these are the treasures we need to guard!

The devil’s deceit will tempt you away from believing God.  The most simplistic tactic to steal God’s blessings right out from under you. So grabbing hold of the healing I knew was mine, I rebuked the devil and continued living with God’s peace of mind.

The devil comes to STEAL!

He steals our healing.

He steals our blessings.

He steals our relationships.

And He steals our joy.

But only if you let him!

  1. I was reminded of the verse lately, “your enemy, the devil, is like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour”. If I give no fodder for the enemy to feast on, he has absolutely nothing to devour. Good word Jenny, he is NOT STEALING OR DEVOURING THE TREASURES GOD HAS GIVEN TO US!
